Homework 5/4-8

Literacy in English 9:
  • "The Tell-Tale Heart" Mid-Unit Assessment revisions due Wednesday at 3:00

English 10R:
  • The Local ELA 10 Assessment will be given in class on Thursday and Friday. Students will be asked to read a one-page passage, answer five multiple-choice questions about the passage, and then write one well-developed paragraph that answers a question about the passage. Since the passage will be a cold read (one we have not studied in class before), students cannot study the content of the passage. They can, however, prepare for this assessment by reviewing how to write a well-developed paragraph, how to properly cite and quote, and their Editing Log minilessons.
  • Inquiry Questions Checklist due Tuesday in class on Google Drive (have your two best inquiry questions chosen)
  • Research project pre-searches #1 and #2 due in class next Monday 5/11 on Google Drive
*No SSR this week due to testing.
